Sky Vega Racer: smartphone with dual-core 1.5-GHz chip
In South Korea, an unusual smartphone Vega Racer from Pantech (model IM-A760S / IM-A770K / IM-A780L) was presented, where it will be released closer to the end of this month under a local brand name Sky. This device performance is based on the operating system, Android 2.3, and dual-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 or MSM8260, graphics Qualcomm Adreno 220.

In this case, CPU clock speed is 1.5 GHz – a first for such a smartphone. Such chips are already used in several devices, but in those cases, the clock frequency is lowered to 1.2 GHz.
Sky Vega Racer has a touch screen with diagonal of 4.3 inches, and model features a high resolution camera on the back side – the 8-megapixel, although a front camera megapixels is ample – 1.3 Mp. It is not known whether the model will be somewhere else other than South Korea.
