Release of Lenovo Skylight and IdeaPad U1 was postponed

It is known that Lenovo has decided to postpone the release of their laptops Skylight and IdeaPad U1. This is due to the fact that its own operating system Lenovo based on Linux, specifically designed for these devices will be replaced by Android.

According to the company, this decision is based on current market trends, as well as feedback from users. It is not clear just when these decisions will be ready and will go on sale.

We recall, Lenovo Skylight - it smartbook with 10.1-inch screen. It is based on the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon, supports the wireless Wi-Fi standards and 3G and can work out of one battery charging for 10 hours. Lenovo IdeaPad U1 - is even more unusual device: it is a laptop with detachable screen. When the display is in its place - it is a regular laptop, but need only remove the screen, and you get a tablet.

MSI will begin selling Tablet PCs in Europe and the U.S. in the third quarter

MSI will begin selling Tablet PC MSI Slatebook in Europe and the U.S. together with the local telecom operator in the third quarter of 2010, reports DigiTimes resource with reference to the Company Secretary Joseph Hsu.
