MTube – the smallest UMPC in the world

This little handheld device, which resembles an ordinary media-player is actually a new UMPC, which is the smallest in the world.

MTube developed by a company Toppoly Optoelectronics was presented at the CES exhibition. It is a prototype of the UMPC, but despite the small dimensions it works due to 1 GHz processor and the OS Linux.

MTube possesses a 2.8-inch LCD touch display (640×480), 8 Gb flash memory, supports WiMAX, WiFi, Ethernet, video formats H.264, WMV, RMVB, MOV, FLV and DIVX, and will be able to provide all the possibility of conventional laptop (at least, according to the manufacturer).

The dimensions of the device are 8.5×8.5×2 cm and weight - 150 g.
