Toshiba Qosmio with HD DVD at a price less than $1000!

Toshiba Company announced that its Qosimo laptops equipped with HD DVD, will appear on the market by Christmas, at a price below $1000. The company believes that affordable HD DVD drives/DVD-RW prevail in the “war” of formats.

Despite the fact that the movie in the HD format spent a lot of energy and a laptop screen is not entirely consistent with the standards permit 1080 p, it will not be a large obstacle to the introduction of HD DVD standard (although some users are unlikely to abandon a similar configuration of a laptop, but with Blue-Ray disk for the same price). So can Toshiba “kill” Blue-Ray?
