7-Megapixel digital camera BenQ DC X735

BenQ released new ultracompact digital camera under the symbol DC X735, which is a modernized version of the model BenQ X725.

The novelty which weighs only 120 grams (without batteries and memory card), is packed in an elegant casing with dimensions 91 x 59 x 14.7 mm (12.5 mm at the thinnest spot), and is equipped with 7.2-Mp CCD sensor with sensitivity of up to 1600 ISO (in the Shake Free Mode and Movie Mode - up to 2000 and 6400 ISO).

In addition, the device has smc PENTAX lens with 3x optical zoom (equivalent focal distances range from 37.5 to 112.5 mm), 2.5-inch LTPS display with a resolution of 230,000 pixels, 16 MB of built memory, slot for connecting SDHC cards up to 4 GB, USB 2.0 interface, A/V- output with the support of NTSC / PAL, and Lithium-ion battery (720 mAh).
BenQ DC X735 has such feature as Face Tracking, it provides digital images with a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304 pixels, can record video in MPEG-4 format with resolution 640 x 480 pixels with 30 or 15 frames per second, offers 29 minute programmes and 6 white balance settings (including automatic and manual), and supports the PictBridge direct printing.
It is expected that BenQ DC X735 will enter the European market in color Vixen-Red and Midnight-Black this month.
