Clevo updated its laptop Clevo D901

Clevo company has updated motherboards in the series of laptops. Now 17-inch Clevo D901C will be based on a motherboard of version 5.1a instead 4.x. The new version is officially supports Quad Intel processors.

Quad processors G0 Quad Core Q6700 and Q6600, originally designed for desktop PC, are in laptops on the basis of Clevo D900C (such companies as XtremeNotebooks, Eurocom and Pioneer Computers).
Some laptop vendors, such as Sager and ProStar, said that these processors could lead to a system failure caused by prolonged use of Clevo D900C and that the company had not confirmed the existence of Quad processor in model D900C.
Sager will offer an updated Clevo D901C called NP9261. The models will be equipped with Quad processors as an option.
