LG and Philips announced the thinnest LCD-display

LG jointly with Phillips presented the thinnest in the world LCD-display.

The thickness of new development is just 1,3 mm, while majority of modern displays have thickness from 1,9 to 2,9 mm.

The brightness of the display is from 200 to 300 candelas.

New displays will go out into a mass production very soon, because demand on them among the producers of mobile electronics today is great enough.
